Raja Manchanda, Associate, Finance

Raja joined DRI Capital in August 2008. Prior to joining, Raja worked in Cowen's Healthcare Investment Banking division in New York.  At Cowen, Raja focused on executing public and private financings as well as mergers & acquisitions for life sciences and medical technology companies.  Raja received a B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Gary Margolis, Legal Counsel

Gary joined DRI Capital in June 2007. Prior to that, Gary practiced corporate law at Dewey Ballantine in London, England with an emphasis on corporate finance and securities transactions. Prior to joining Dewey Ballantine, Gary practiced at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York in the areas of corporate finance, securities and M&A. Gary has represented both public and private clients, including financial institutions and private equity funds in domestic and international transactions and financings. Gary is admitted to the bars of Ontario and New York. Gary obtained his JD and B.Sc (Human Biology) from the University of Toronto.

Jeff McGrath, Legal Counsel

Prior to joining DRI Capital in February of 2008, Jeff was an associate of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg in Toronto, practising in the areas of commercial real estate and corporate commercial law.  Jeff has represented clients in a variety of matters including commercial financing, acquisitions and reorganizations, private equity fund formation and investment transactions, securities offerings and corporate governance.  Jeff received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of British Columbia in 2000 and an LL.B. from Queen's University in 2006 where he was recognized as the Dean's Silver Scholar.

Jeff Pootoolal, Vice President, Royalty Monetization Fund

Jeff joined DRI Capital full time in 2006 after spending a summer with the company in 2005.  Prior to joining DRI Capital, Jeff worked as an equity research associate covering small to mid-cap biotech companies.  Jeff began his career studying functional yeast genomics at the University of Toronto.  Jeff has both a Bachelors and Masters of Science specializing in Biochemistry from McMaster University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Rebecca Ross, Director, Investment Analysis & Research

Rebecca joined DRI Capital in September 2008.  Prior to joining DRI, Rebecca worked for Spectral Diagnostics and ConjuChem in business development and for BMO Capital Markets as an equity research associate covering small to medium cap biotechnology companies.  Rebecca has a B.Sc. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Joshua Salisbury, Managing Director

Joshua joined DRI Capital in March of 2007.  Prior to that he served as Vice President of Corporate Business Development and a member of Senior Management at Eli Lilly, where he had responsibility for all phases of business development including early and late phase in-licensing, outpartnering, royalty monetization, M&A, and venture capital.  Joshua was previously a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, and was also an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and Wasserstein, Perella.  He serves on the boards of The Innovation Factory and Accuitive Medical Ventures, medical-device oriented venture capital firms.  He holds a BA from the University of Chicago in economics, and an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School.
